Dr. Éder Julio Kinast (lattes)
Coordinator
Dr. Kinast holds a Bachelor's degree in Physics from UFRGS (1998), a Master's degree in Physics from UFRGS (2000), and a PhD in Sciences - Experimental Physics from UFRGS (2003), which included a sandwich doctorate program at the Laboratoire Louis Néel (CNRS) in Grenoble, France (2002). He has been an adjunct professor at the State University of Rio Grande do Sul (UERGS) since 2004. He conducts research and provides academic guidance in the areas of energy efficiency and self-sufficiency, determination of three-dimensional structures of solids from numerical solutions in alloys and oxides, dedicated software, artificial intelligence, and system simulation.
Dra. Debora da Silva Motta Matos (lattes)
Deputy Coordinator
Professor at the State University of Rio Grande do Sul (UERGS) since 2014, she works in the Computer Engineering courses and in the Professional Master's in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics program. She is currently the coordinator of the National Applications Olympiad (ONDA), funded by CNPq. She obtained her Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) in 2014, Porto Alegre, Brazil, and her Master's degree, also in Computer Science, from the same institution in 2010. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Digital Systems Engineering from UERGS (2007). She collaborated at the Politecnico di Milano, Italy, in 2011 and enrolled in a sandwich Ph.D. at CEA-Leti, Grenoble, France, in 2012. Her main research focuses on problem and project-based learning, the integration of pedagogical techniques using digital technologies, and teaching methodologies based on interdisciplinary meaningful learning.
Dr. Luciano Andreatta Carvalho da Costa (lattes)

Dr. Andreatta graduated in Civil Engineering (1994) and earned a Licentiate Degree in Mathematics (1998) from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), specializing in Buildings from PUCRS (1996). He completed his master's degree (2000) and doctorate (2004) in Civil Engineering from UFRGS, focusing on Engineering Education. His thesis was awarded by PAPED, CAPES' Distance Learning Research Support Program. He is an Adjunct Professor at the State University of Rio Grande do Sul (UERGS), teaching in Engineering courses and coordinating the Postgraduate Program in Teacher Training for Sciences, Technologies, Engineering, and Mathematics (PPGSTEM). He also works as a permanent professor in the Postgraduate Program in Education (PPGED). Additionally, he collaborates as a professor in the Postgraduate Program in Science Education (PPGEC) at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), advising master's and PhD students. Furthermore, he is a Mathematics Professor at the Liberato Salzano Vieira da Cunha Technical School Foundation.
From February 2011 to December 2014, he held the position of Technical Director of the Secretariat of Science, Innovation, and Technological Development of the State of Rio Grande do Sul and was a member of the Superior Council of UERGS. From 2007 to 2010, he worked as the coordinator of the Civil Engineering program and President of the Engineering and Technologies Board at the IPA Methodist University Center. He is the deputy coordinator of the FAPERGS advisory committee in the Education area. With vast experience in Scientific and Technological Education, he has organized chapters of books, authored scientific articles, reviewed journals and publishers, and advised master's and doctoral students academically.
Dra. Fabrícia Damando Santos (lattes)
Line of Research: Digital Technologies in Teaching
She is currently a professor at the State University of Rio Grande do Sul (UERGS) in the Computer Engineering program and in the Professional Master's in Teacher Training for Sciences, Technologies, Engineering and Mathematics (PPGSTEM). She was the Coordinator of the Specialization Course in Engineering Education and Science and Mathematics Teaching and was the deputy coordinator at PPGSTEM. She has a doctorate in Information Technology in Education from UFRGS/PPGIE, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from PUC-Goiás, and a master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Federal University of Goiás (UFG). She is a specialist in Media in Education from UFRGS/CINTED. She was an assistant professor at UFG. She coordinates the Include Gurias Project and the Creative Learning Project at UERGS. She has experience in Computer Science, working mainly on the following topics: software engineering, data mining and educational data mining, affective computing, and software engineering. Additionally, she works in educational Information Technology, developing technologies to support the teaching and learning process at different levels and areas of knowledge, including topics such as Computational Thinking, Creative Learning, and Maker Space.
Dra. Gladis Falavigna (lattes)

Dr. Falavigna holds a Post-doctorate in Education from the University of Minho (UMINHO) in Portugal (2012) and completed a second post-doc at UMINHO in July 2019. She also holds a PhD in Philosophy and Educational Sciences from the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC), Spain (1999), and a Master's in Education from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (1989). She is a Specialist in Education Sciences from UFRGS (1982) and graduated with a full degree in Music Education. She was an Evaluator professor at INEP/SINAES and Adjunct professor at UERGS at the São Francisco de Paula Campus, from 2002 to 2019, in undergraduate, extension, and specialization courses. Coordinator and author of a bilateral agreement between UMINHO, UERGS, and São Francisco de Paula City Hall; USC and UERGS. She worked in both state and municipal public schools in Porto Alegre. She Participated in educational projects at UFRGS (EDUCON and Regesd); Minerva (Portugal); Digital Inclusion in SFP, Senar; and Technologies in teacher training with SEDUC in Ceará. She also worked in undergraduate and specialization courses at La Salle, IPA/IMEC, FIJO/PUCRS, and UNISINOS. Publications in ICT, education, and teacher training, EAD, and B-learning in partnership with UMINHO, Portugal.
She worked as an advisor to the general director and deputy secretary of SDECT from 2015 to 2017. She is the general coordinator of the Compreendedor@ Education Pilot Project, SDECT, and UERGS. Professor collaborator at Bohemia University, Education College, Department of Culture and Music, Pilsen, Czech Republic, where she participated in a visiting research internship, researching public basic education schools. Experience in the research area of education, with an emphasis on teaching-learning, distance education, videoconferencing, teacher training, ubiquitous education, and national and international exchanges. She participates on boards at UERGS, UNIJUI, USP, IFRGS/POA, and UMINHO/Portugal. Author of the international academic collaboration agreement between UERGS and the University West of Bohemia and the Czech-Brazil/INCBAC Academic Collaboration Institute. Speaker at an international seminar on training music teachers in Brazil, at the University West of Bohemia in May 2017. Organizer and author of a chapter in a book published in July 2017 by EDIPUCRS: Dreams Realized/Reviews of Master's Dissertations by Students from São Francisco de Paula. Articles in press from Brazilian and Portuguese universities. Member of the Scientific Committee of the International Congress at UMINHO in September 2017, speaker, and coordinator of presentations for the event. She develops activities with the Honorary Consulate of the Czech Republic in Porto Alegre, to publish a book about the Pilot Project Compreendedor@ Education 2016, published in the second half of 2017. Professor collaborator at the Doctorate Education Institute, University of Minho, Braga Campus, Portugal, where in 2018 she participated in the Institute of Education's Master's Seminars, presenting the Compreendedor@ Education Pilot Project and the Teacher Training Research in the Czech Republic, Brazil, and Portugal, and the Doctoral Seminar. Member of the evaluation committee for the Dean of Extension at the Federal University of Latin American Integration. As of 2019, she works at the INNAP faculty in the Postgraduate Program and collaborates with the Master's Degree at UERGS. Member of the Scientific Committee of CHALLENGES/2019. She presented her work at the XV Congress of Psychopedagogy in Coruña, where she is a member of the Scientific Committee of the Congress. Collaborator at the Czech Consulate. Dr. Migliorini holds a Bachelor's and Teaching Degree in Chemistry from the Federal University of Pelotas (2005), a Master's in Chemistry from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (2009), and a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (2014). Currently, he is an adjunct professor of chemical sciences at the State University of Rio Grande do Sul, stationed at the Santa Cruz do Sul Campus, and a permanent professor of the Professional Master's in Teacher Training for Sciences, Technologies, Engineering, and Mathematics at the State University of Rio Grande do Sul at the Guaíba Campus (PPGSTEM-UERGS). He conducts research in Biotransformation and Biocatalysis at the Santa Cruz do Sul Campus of UERGS. He has experience in Chemistry and Chemistry Teaching, with a focus on redefining Chemistry concepts in high school, comprehensive two-dimensional gas chromatography, production, and characterization of bio-oils, and the synthesis of modified silicas using the sol-gel method.

He holds a Ph.D. in Engineering from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), completed in April 2009, and a Master's in Water Resources and Environmental Sanitation (IPH) from UFRGS (1997). He works in the field of Environmental Engineering, primarily in the dispersion of pollutants in aquatic environments. He has experience in Environmental Chemistry, Transport Phenomena, and Industrial Processes. Currently, he teaches at the State University of Rio Grande do Sul (UERGS).
Dr. Roberto Ribeiro Baldino (lattes)

He holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (1961), a Master's in Mathematics from Stanford University (1965), and a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the National Institute for Pure and Applied Mathematics (1972). Currently, he is a professor at the State University of Rio Grande do Sul, in the Computer Engineering program. He has experience in Education, with a focus on Calculus Teaching, primarily working on the following topics: Calculus Teaching, Solidarity Assimilation, Action Research, Hegel, and Non-Standard Analysis.

Dr. Tânia Cristina Baptista Cabral (lattes)
Research Line: Epistemologies and Methodologies in Teaching Practice
Born in Rio de Janeiro, from the former State of Guanabara, she holds a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics Education from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ 1984), a master's degree in Mathematics Education from São Paulo State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho (UNESP 1992), and a Ph.D. in Education from the University of São Paulo, specializing in Didactics (USP 1998). She conducted studies and training in psychoanalysis at the Brazilian School of Psychoanalysis-São Paulo.
She is currently a Teacher-Researcher and Dissertation Supervisor in the STEM Teaching Postgraduate Program and a voluntary collaborator in the Computer Engineering Course at the Guaíba Campus, UERGS. She is part of the following study and research groups: (1) Research Group in Teacher Training for Sciences, Technologies, Engineering, and Mathematics (GPDSTEM), (2) Remote Action Research Group (GPA-R), and (3) Hegel-Husserl Study Group.
Her research is linked to the "Epistemology and Methodologies in Teacher Training" line, and she collaborates with other researchers in this field on specific topics such as: (1) teaching and learning calculus, (2) mathematics education and psychoanalysis, and (3) mathematics education and philosophy based on the Hegel-Marx-Lacan theory (HML). She is affiliated with the following academic societies and groups: (1) Brazilian Society of Mathematics Education (SBEM), (2) Brazilian Computer Society (SBC), (3) Brazilian Society for the Advancement of Science (SBPC), and (4) The International Group for the Psychology of Mathematics Education (PME).

Dr. Bazzo holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (1978), Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering (1980), and Ph.D. in Education (1998), all from the Federal University of Santa Catarina. He is currently a Full Professor at UFSC in the Mechanical Engineering Undergraduate Program and in the Postgraduate Program in Scientific and Technological Education (PPGECT). As the founder of the Center for Studies and Research in Technological Education (NEPET), he currently works as its coordinator. Author of several books, he has experience in the field of Technological Education, focusing primarily on the following topics: Technological Education, STS (Science, Technology, and Society), Engineering Education, Didactic Aspects, and Technological Learning. Since 2013, he has been working with an emphasis on the contemporary variables that make up the Civilizational Equation.

MBA in Strategic Management of Professional and Technological Education Institutions from the SENAI Florianópolis Technology College. Specialization in teaching from the University of Southern Santa Catarina - UNISUL. Master's Degree in Industrial Automation from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (2012). Master's and Ph.D. in Control and Automation from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul - UFRGS. He worked at the National Service for Industrial Learning, SENAI, as a technical level instructor, as a supervisor of education and technology, and as a specialist in innovation projects. Currently, he works as an Associate Professor at the State University of Rio Grande do Sul (UERGS), in the undergraduate course in Control and Automation Engineering, and as a collaborating professor in the Postgraduate Program in Sciences, Technologies, Engineering, and Mathematics (PPGSTEM), a professional Master's program. He has experience in the field of Electrical Engineering, with an emphasis on control and automation, specializing in automated, interactive, and virtual manufacturing systems. He is a researcher in the characteristics of self-organizing systems for engineering applications, functionalities, and applications of didactic resources for learning in sciences, technologies, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), and in control and automation applications in systems aimed at ESG (Environment, Social and Governance), especially in IIoT applications applied in this environment.

Dr. Teixeira received her Ph.D. in Science Education from the Graduate Program in Science Education: Chemistry of Life and Health at UFRGS, with a thesis titled "Knowledge Networks in Science." She also holds a Master's in Administration from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (1996) and a Bachelor's degree in Librarianship from the same university (1975). Retired professor from the Department of Information Science at the School of Librarianship and Communication at UFRGS, she currently works as a Permanent Professor of the Graduate Program in Science Education: Chemistry of Life and Health at UFRGS and as a Collaborating Professor of the Professional Master's Program in Teacher Training for Sciences, Technologies, Engineering, and Mathematics at UERGS. Her expertise spans Teaching and Education in Sciences and Information Sciences, focusing on Information Management, Knowledge Management, Document Management, Knowledge Networks, Scientific Production, Sources of Scientific and Technological Information, Social Network Analysis, and Non-formal Education Spaces.

Dr. Clesar completed both a Master's and Ph.D. in Education in the Training, Policies, and Practices in Education Line from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS), along with a Specialization in Special Education and Inclusive Process Management from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS). She holds a degree in Mathematics and a degree in Physics from the University of Vale do Rio dos Sinos (UNISINOS). Currently serving as an Adjunct Professor of Exact Sciences, Permanent Professor of the Postgraduate Program in Education (PPGED), and Permanent Professor of the Postgraduate Program in Teacher Training for Sciences, Technologies, Engineering, and Mathematics (PPGSTEM) at the State University of Rio Grande do Sul South (UERGS), she conducts research in the field of Education and Teaching in Mathematics and Physics, with a focus on teacher training and the use of digital technologies.

Dr. Silva is a Permanent Professor at PPGSTEM-UERGS GUAÍBA (2023). Currently pursuing a Post-Doctorate in Science Education at UFRGS (2024), she holds a PhD and Master's in Science Education from UFRGS (2023 and 2016). Additionally, she is a member of the Research and Studies Group in Rural Education and Natural Sciences, certified by CAPES and UFRGS (dgp.cnpq.br/dgp/espelhogrupo/9254712785950+587). She completed her Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the Lutheran University of Brazil ULBRA (2000) and a Bachelor's degree in Pedagogy from Centro Universitário Internacional (UNINTER) in 2018. Furthermore, she obtained specialization degrees in various fields including University Teaching, School Management, Media in Advanced Cycle Education, School Supervision, Educational Guidance, and Clinical and Institutional Psychopedagogy. She also works as a Chemistry Teacher in public schools in the State of Rio Grande do Sul.

Dr. Soares holds a PhD in Science Education from UFRGS (2024). He also collaborates as a Professor at PPGSTEM-UERGS (2023). Holds a PhD in Science Education from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul - UFRGS (2022). He is a member of the Research and Studies Group in Rural Education and Natural Sciences, certified by CAPES and UFRGS (dgp.cnpq.br/dgp/espelhogrupo/9254712785950587). Completed his Master's degree in Environmental Education from the Federal University of Rio Grande - PPGEA/FURG. Participated in the Research Group: Environmental Education in Environmental Management Processes - EA-FURG. He holds a specialization in Science Education - UNIPAMPA (2013) and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Management Technology from the North University of Paraná (2011). He worked as a teacher in the State of Santa Catarina-CFR-SJC (2020) and is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Geography (2022) at UNOPAR. Dr. Marco Aurélio Torres Rodrigues (lattes)

Dr. Rodrigues holds a degree in Physics from the Federal University of Pelotas (2001); Postgraduate studies in Mathematics and Language from the Federal University of Pelotas (2006); Master's degree in Physics Teaching from FURG (2015), and a Ph.D. in Physics Teaching from UFRGS (2022). He works at the State University of Rio Grande do Sul (UERGS) in Santana do Livramento, RS, as an Adjunct Professor of Exact Sciences, teaching courses in Pedagogy, Agronomy, Rural Development, and Agribusiness Management. Since the second semester of 2023, he has been a permanent faculty member of the Professional Master's Program in Teacher Training for Sciences, Technologies, Engineering, and Mathematics at the State University of Rio Grande do Sul, Guaíba Campus (PPGSTEM-UERGS). From February 2023, he assumed the role of Coordinator of the Bachelor's Degree in Rural Development and Agribusiness Management at UERGS. He worked for 18 years as a teacher in the Elementary Education (1st to 5th grade), teaching all subjects, and worked for approximately 10 years as a teacher in High School, teaching Physics throughout the three years. He participates in the following research groups: i) Ecology of Knowledge in Agroecosystems of the Pampa Biome - Ecos do Pampa; ii) Research and Studies Group Integrated into Education: languages and literacies, both at the State University of Rio Grande do Sul.
